    Construction
    • Rugged 3mm folded sheet metal construction, sealed and painted internally with temperature resistant paint 5.0mm floor sheet, fully welded to side walls.

    • Outer skin coated with primer and air drying enamel in Pengrave-Remal blue.

    Operational advantages
    • Aggressive chemicals traditionally used for paint stripping eliminated.
    • Shot blasting not required.
    • Automatic operation, labour only required for loading and unloading.
    • Oven can be loaded through the day and run during the night with hangers/jigs cool and ready for re-use next day.
    • Minimum maintenance other than cleaning.
    Insulation

    • Typical furnace design insulation of low thermal mass, including ceramic fibre material capable of withstanding 1,200°C.
    • Oven walls and roof insulated with high density fibreglass covered with foil vapour barrier and inner lining of ceramic fibre.
    • Hot face protected from mechanical damage by stainless steel panels.
    • Oven floor insulated by dry laid firebricks covered with 3mm mild steel floor plates for protection and to facilitate cleaning.
